Door to Door Salesman
Hello everybody! Another week has gone by, and they are flying already. It's only been about a month but it's been a great time. So much fun always, even when we're super busy and working hard it's still a good time.
This week has been a lot of working, nothing too exciting went on this week, but we had a district council which was fun. Got together and had some talk about our friends and what our goals are. Then we had lunch all together and had some fire nachos that we made. I'm already missing Mexican food so much. There's none here and that's probably what I miss the most. A good ol' burrito would be the best thing ever.
We mostly did a bunch of door knocking this week, for hours and hours. Which is actually fun cuz you're pretty much just hanging out with my epic companion and inviting people to hear about our wonderful savior Jesus Christ. The acceptance rate is not high, but those who do are eager to hear so its fun. Even when we do get rejected they are almost always polite about it, which I appreciate. I've learned that even when we get denied, still love it. Love the work and enjoy every single moment, even when it kind of sucks.
We also do things called exchanges, which mean I go and switch sports with an Elder in another area. So I spent a day in another area with another Elder and it was fun to mix it up.
Our friends are somewhat progressing, one kind of dropped off of the face of the Earth, but hey that happens sometimes. And the other one that got baptized is now wanting to go to institute, which is amazing cuz I didn't even do that.
Today we were able to go on a P-day adventure, we went and hiked up on a mountain and explored that area for a while. It was super beautiful, and we saw some Kookaburras. There were signs that said it was a Koala area, but sadly we did not see any. So that was lame but it was still cool to go and see. There's an Elder who's family is originally from this area, so we were able to go and see his grandma and share a spiritual thought which was so fun. She was super sweet and it was almost (not quite) but almost like seeing some family.
I love you all and miss you so much, sorry this email is kinda lame. I had to type it later cuz we were out adventuring all day. I miss you all and hope to hear from you, let me know if any of you need anything. And sorry if I spaced replying to you, just know I read them all and appreciate them.
Much love from the land down undah,
