Last Week of MTC

Holy cow what a week its been. They keep us busy busy but it's a lot of fun. Whenever we're not in class, we're in workshops, or the cafeteria, and occasionally playing some top tier ping pong. But it's been a great time, made lots of new friends that I'm pretty close with already. Ill have to find them all in 2 years. And i ate a whole lot of food (I can feel the pounds gaining) The food has either gotten better or I'm just eating anything they give me, I've upgraded to like 4 plates per meal so that's been fantastic.

Last week I shared how cold it was here in Provo. Turns out it was nothing, this last week has been "colder than a mother in law's kiss" (quote courtesy of Elder Hawsden) we woke up on the first to it snowing with a few inches on the ground and that was way fun, and since then it's sat around 30 degrees ish. Which I've adapted to already, it's fun being able to wear jackets and sweaters and stuff. Especially cuz Australia prolly won't get like this very often if at all. But we got to have some nice snowball fights and what not. Don't tell security tho.

We've been to the temple 4 times in the last week and its been amazing. Being able to go there and spend time and do those ordinances is such a blessing and it just helps me see the blessings of those I've made, and it reaffirms how much I want to make the next ones. It has been incredible, super spiritual. And I'm Sunday night we had a big musical devotional thing. There was a full choir and Orchestra that came and performed for us and played music that followed the life and ministry of Christ. If was so so amazing. Can't even explain it.

In the MTC we do things called helping others appointments or HOAs, which is when they have an actor pretend to be an investigator and we have to write and tailor a lesson to them. It's so fun trying to understand them and see what they need to learn and what we can share to benefit them. Turns out I'm basically a teaching wizard and have changed the lives of all of them so far so. But It gets me so excited to get out and start teaching and serving the people. It'll be an incredible experience, slightly scary tho sometimes. But we've been able to get a few of those done and it's been cool to see our growth and progress in such a short amount of time.

In other news I got slightly sick for one day but sounded the airborne and medicine and got over it quickly, so that was epic. Got to take a sick nap which was much needed. I'm still meeting new people everyday, but we've found a few friends we always hang out and talk to everyday, and they're so cool. Always a good time to chat with them. Also I don't know if yall have seen but we have a deer living on campus with us, she just hangs around and chills. Not even scared of people so it's kinda fun to see her walk around. And conference is this weekend which is gonna be so so cool to be here for. I'm so excited for it. And I think this will be the first time I'm awake for all the sessions (hopefully)

This week has been weird cuz I've spent a lot of time on the things that I'll miss out on in the next two years but also the things that I'm going to do when I'm back. It's kinda of bittersweet but I'm so excited to go start the work and I know it'll fly. Sorry for the long emails but just know that my testimony is growing every single day. God loves you all and I love you all. Thank you for all your support, and the messages you send me! Even if I don't respond know that I appreciate them. Next time you hear from me I'll be in the Land Down Under, until then, ramble on, carry on, and rock on.
