Epic Week of Epicness

This has been such a good week down here, so many cool things have happened! First of all, yesterday officially started the winter season. However, it just kind of feels like a decent fall day in Idaho, so it's not too bad. My companion is freezing all the time, but I don't think it's that bad. In other news, I've officially gained 17 lbs in the time that I've been in Australia. I'm doing my very best to make sure it's good weight, and not just me getting fat. But hey, we'll see how long that lasts. I have Costco and Tongan families to thank for that mostly. My mom says it's already showing in my face.

This week we had an exchange so I went down South to a place called Frankston. Also known as Frankghanistan. It's a little bit ghetto down there, but that just means the people are more elect and ready to hear our message. But it was super awesome. The first thing we did down there was a service, moving some cabinets for an older guy. Turns out he was an old white guy that was a Buddhist monk, and had been a monk since the 70's. He was super nice and we sat and talked to him for a while about life and religion, and it was super cool, he was way nice. Then we had dinner at a member's house, and I got to drive home for the first time. It also happened to be pitch black and pouring rain, so it got a little bit exciting. But I didn't do too bad honestly, it feels so different, and it's weird, but it is nice to be driving again. I just hit a few more curbs than usual here. The next morning, I went and decided it would be a good idea to go for a run for the first time, and I ran a light 5k. It sucked. I hated it. Running sucks. BUUUUTTTT on the bright side, at least it was a beautiful run. It was along a wooden boardwalk on the beach, and was a super good view. Might as well suffer in paradise. And that running gave me knee problems for the next week, but hey, fitness journey!

This week we were able to make 6 new friends! It was so good. For those of you at home, that is a lot for one week in our mission. So our area is on fire, which makes me slightly nervous. When I leave I will probably go to areas where the work is a lot harder and the numbers are a lot lower, but it will still be amazing and I'll still love it. This week we taught quite a few lessons, and we even put someone on BAPTISMAL DATE!!! Which is so exciting, hopefully all goes well. I'll keep you all updated on his progress. Please pray for him.
Today we were able to go bowling with the district and it was so much fun. I was a little rusty but I got warmed up and scored 106. My brother went this week as well, and my goal was to beat him. He scored a 76 so needless to say, I took the win on that one. Then after that we played a little arcade games, then came and played pickleball. So it was a good P-day. And talking to my family is always a great time, they are doing great right now, so that's good. They're livin it up.

Hope everyone is doing great, and I love getting emails and thoughts from you guys. I'm always thinking of you guys and praying for you, and I can feel all the prayers for me and the other missionaries, I appreciate it so much. Always let me know if you need anything and keep on keepin on.

Love you all!
