Kangaroos, Blessings, New Friends, and the Works

 What is up party people,

This week has probably been one of the best so far, despite a few setbacks. We were able to do so much missionary work, but also lots of super fun and very spiritual things happened. First off, on Tuesday, we had zone conference. So just about half of the mission got together and had some skill training, and lunch all together. It was pretty fun and we were able to learn some valuable missionary skills, which is always appreciated. It did feel like a long day, which it was, but hey. It was still a good day.

The next day we just had some normal finding and teaching, but in the evening, we got a call from the sisters nearby. They said they needed us to run and give someone they knew a priesthood blessing. We ended up going to a children's hospital in our area and giving a tiny baby in critical condition a blessing. It was so sad, but extremely powerful. It was such a good but sad experience. Hopefully all works out well for their family, please pray for baby Rosalina.

On Saturday, we taught some really good lessons. Then that evening we were able to go and help a member with a service project. We did some insulation and sheet rocking in a studio they are building in their backyard. It's super cool and it was good to help them out. Gave us something to do, at least. Plus they fed us some pizza, which was epic. We love pizza.
Sunday we had 8 people come to church, which was amazing. We have had so much success and have been so busy. It is such a blessing and hopefully we can keep it up. But after church, we taught a super good lesson with one of our friends and one of our new members. After which, we invited him to be baptized, and he ACCEPTED. So we have him set for the end of the month, hopefully all goes well and we can progress him more. We also have one other friend on date and we're going to invite probably 2 more here soon, so it is going well.

Today was an epic P-day, I got to talk to my family for a long time which was good. Plus....... drum roll please........... I  got to finally see two kangaroos!!!! Hooray. Please see the attached photos. They were so fun and I'm glad to know that they actually exist.

This week we focused on some of our favorite scriptures, so I've been thinking a lot about mine. Which so happens to be Matthew 5:13,  This scripture reminds me that I have my purpose. I am the salt of the earth, and if I don't accomplish that purpose, then there is no point. I always need to be focused on why I am here, no matter what I may be doing. Do it and do it right... always. No matter what you are doing, remember to do it right or it's good for nothing. If you do this, you will see immense blessings, I promise you.
I love you all and I appreciate the support you give me. Keep on keepin on and do something awesome. Message me if anyone needs anything at all. Much love.
Elder Reddish
