Herro Everyone!

 Herro everyone! 

I cant believe another week has already passed, time is absolutely flying by. For me at least. But hey, time flies when your having fun i guess. And we absolutely have been having some fun.

The most fun you could possibly have as a missionary for the lord,  is spreading his gospel and teaching whenever possible. And oh boy have we been able to do a lot of that. We have like 6 friends that were teaching right now, which keeps us busy. But its so amazing to see their love and understanding of Jesus Christ and his gospel grow each day. Its so incredible how much change and joy God can bring to our lives. 2 of our friends are preparing for baptism soon, so that is super exciting, and we can't wait for them to take this step to build a covenant relationship with the Lord.

This week we have had heaps of lessons, and its so fun to teach. It not only helps them learn, but it helps me understand more about these principles. I have learned so much through these lessons and my own personal studies that I have been able to do. We get people from all walks of life who are interested in learning of Jesus Christ, so its awesome to see all the different cultures. Right now were teaching people from Kenya, Australia, Greece, India, and even China. Its so cool.


Some of the fun things we did this week, were going to see the Brighton Beach Boxes, we rode on the Eagle gondola, and we made strawberry smores. We hit up the USA foods store again, its awesome there. Its like a little slice of home. We got some fire American style smash burgers and some oatmeal cream pies. But we also got some marshmallow fluff and went and got strawberries. (Shout out Aunt Chris for showing me this) then we put the fluff on the strawberry and cooked it over our stove. 


They were super good. Then one day we went to a place called Brighton, and along the beach they have these bright colored little shed houses all in a big row. So went and checked them out for a minute and took a few photos. And yesterday, we went to a place called Arthurs seat and rode the Eagle Gondola up to the top of the mountain and looked at all the views and checked out the park and what not. It was super fun. And we had some awesome views.


My spiritual thought this week come from Ecclesiastes 3. 
1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

These verses comfort me and let me know there is a time for everything. It helps me set the mentality that no matter what's going on there is a time for it, and a time for other things. Your time right now may be hard, it may be a time of sadness but put your faith in the Lord that your time of joy will come soon. And always thank the lord, for the good and the bad. You don't harvest the same day you plant, so wait for your time and you will be blessed.

I'm doing amazing here and I'm enjoying my time, and I know one day soon (may come sooner than i want) i will be back home starting a new chapter. So enjoy the time you're at, be where your feet are.

La MTC está muy bien!

Buenos dias mi Familia! La MTC esta bien! I've been picking up Spanish cuz we've been hanging out with a lot with a neighbor district who all are speaking Spanish. So that's been awesome, I'm basically fluent now. But on the real, the MTC has been incredible for the 2.5 short days I've been here. And I'm so excited for the next two weeks. I am also extremely grateful that I'm not here for 11 weeks like the Mongolian missions. Don't get me wrong, I love it here, but that would be gnarly.  This week has been a good one for sure. I officially left Hawaii and came to the good ol land of Provo Utah. It's cold. My recently developed Hawaiian-ness has made me weak to these harsh conditions. I feel like I'm fighting for my life in the Yukon tundra out here. 55° is coooooold lemme tell you🥶 however the mountains are so beautiful and it's been amazing. First Day!

  Aloha all my friends and family!  Today I have officially completed my mission, IM DONE, HOORAY I DID IT! Just kidding, it's only the first of many many amazing days to come. I am having an absolute blast and the real deal hasn't even begun. Today I got to meet with my MTC district and companion for the first time, and let me just say they are incredible. I can tell through their tiny little squares on the zoom that they have such strong testimonies and are just itching to get out and serve the Lord. My companion is Elder Turner. He's from Southern California, and is already such an inspiration to me. He has such a passion for the gospel and I know he'll do great things. He is actually going to the same mission as me which is neat! Kangaroos, Blessings, New Friends, and the Works

 What is up party people,  This week has probably been one of the best so far, despite a few setbacks. We were able to do so much missionary work, but also lots of super fun and very spiritual things happened. First off, on Tuesday, we had zone conference. So just about half of the mission got together and had some skill training, and lunch all together. It was pretty fun and we were able to learn some valuable missionary skills, which is always appreciated. It did feel like a long day, which it was, but hey. It was still a good day.  The next day we just had some normal finding and teaching, but in the evening, we got a call from the sisters nearby. They said they needed us to run and give someone they knew a priesthood blessing. We ended up going to a children's hospital in our area and giving a tiny baby in critical condition a blessing.
