Water War!

 Hello everyone greetings from the wonderful Melbourne Australia. These last two weeks have been amazing and I cannot wait to tell you guys all about it, so without further ado let's get into it.  We've been staying pretty busy with lessons. We teach quite a few a week, and they are so fun. Some of the people are not super interested in being baptized super soon, so we just have to plant that seed and teach them and help them progress their relationship with Jesus Christ but it's still amazing to watch them progress. A few of them are just barely entering the world of Christianity, so we have to start from the very very beginning and have to take it kind of slow, and so we teach a lot from the Bible in those cases which has also been cool because then I get to have a new understanding of the Bible. We kind of have reached a stalemate where the friends that we teach love the lessons and want to continue having them but they are not attending church and that is kind of hard, ...

Irene got Dunked and I hit the Griddy!

  Malo e lelei ! What a blessed week this has been. So much to tell you all about. It truly has been one of the highlights of the entire mission so far. And dont worry im trying my best to journal about it all for the future. But here's the rundown of some of my favorite things this week.  We'll start off at the beginning of the week and go through in order. Monday was a blast, talked to my family for a while, went on a little ocean overlook hike, and played a quick round of mini golf. Honestly a pretty solid pday. And it was Elder Bachman's first pday so we tried to make it fun.  Throughout the week, we had some really good lessons with a few of our friends. And one of them we put our other friend Daniel on date for September 14!! Super excited for him and he wants his kids to be baptized soon after so hopefully that all goes well. Week of Miracles

 What's good all my friends and family! What an amazing week this has been, I cant wait to tell you all about it. Absolutely a week of miracles, so you might need to get some snacks or something🍿🍿 Well, rewind back to LAST pday, which was prolly one of the best ones we've had. All of the Elders got together which was really fun. And we ended up going to this place called Hijinx Hotel cuz we had some free passes. We  were expecting it to be an escape room, but we were wrong. Turns out you go through and there's 8 rooms, and each is an interactive mini game thing where you try and score the most points against other teams going through the rooms. For example there was a basketball hoops one, a guess the song one, a giant Simon says game, one where you try and hit buttons all around the room that light up, and one where you are in a giant ball pit and you gotta put as many balls into holes that light up on the walls. Short and Sweet!

  Sorry this ones gonna be quick, but next week ill have a long one and fill you all in.  I'm doing super great! The mission is so fun and its been awesome. All of our friends are progressing really well and its been fun seeing them grow closer to Christ.  We got transfer news and I'm staying in Moorabbin with Elder Willis. HOWEVER we're trio training a brand new missionary so we'll go pick him up Friday.  Always remember that as you devote any amount of time and energy to the Lord, he will make it easier to continue. As you yoke yourself to him, he will make our burdens light. All it takes is that first step and some effort. Matthew 11:28-30. If you need help taking that step there is someone, you just have to reach out. And if you need anything from me don't be afraid to message or email me! Herro Everyone!

  Herro everyone!  I cant believe another week has already passed, time is absolutely flying by. For me at least. But hey, time flies when your having fun i guess. And we absolutely have been having some fun. The most fun you could possibly have as a missionary for the lord,  is spreading his gospel and teaching whenever possible. And oh boy have we been able to do a lot of that. We have like 6 friends that were teaching right now, which keeps us busy. But its so amazing to see their love and understanding of Jesus Christ and his gospel grow each day. Its so incredible how much change and joy God can bring to our lives. 2 of our friends are preparing for baptism soon, so that is super exciting, and we can't wait for them to take this step to build a covenant relationship with the Lord. This week we have had heaps of lessons, and its so fun to teach. It not only helps them learn, but it helps me understand more about these principles. I have learned so much through th...

FLASH FLOOD🌊🌊

 So we didn't actually have a real flash flood. More like a flash flood of people who are interested. Which I think is the best kind. We went from working hard and finding no one, to all of a sudden having tons of people. I know we were blessed for our efforts and it's began to pay off. We have been teaching a couple regular people for a few weeks, such as Daniel and Mahabir. And they are still doing amazing. They are the best and just love everything we teach them. And we had a couple new lessons with a few more newly interested people, so that is fun and its so cool to see them come looking for the joy. One of the best lessons we had this week was with a group of like 6 guys from Fiji and Vanuatu. I tried to learn a little bit of Fijian but I suck at it and I don't think i got a single word right. But, they are here for work, so they all live together, but we went over and taught them, and it went super well. They loved it and we have another lesson with them this week. I...

WILD WILD EAST

     Hello everyone! So sorry that I missed a week, but we were just going and going so I didn't even have time to type one up. But I'll make this one twice as good to make up for it. Just know that's its been an epic 2 weeks.  The work has been slow but busy at the same time. We are still on the finding grind to grow our teaching pool, because our previous promising people disappeared off the face of the Earth. Genuinely MIA so that kinda sucks, but hey we keep on truckin. So we've been trying to find new people and coming up with new techniques to get people interested. The tried and true methods of knocking and talking to people on the street are a daily staple, but sometimes they just don't cut it. So we've devised a few new ideas. One of which was filming a music video for our social media page public. People were asking questions and so we had some good luck there, but we hope posting it will bring even more.
